On this pages you find in alphabetical form short descriptions (german) of more than 1000 adventure games, each with box- and screenshots, links to developers, publishers, reviews, walkthroughs, home- and fanpages in english and german.

You can find textadventures with and without graphics, 1st person puzzle orientated games like Myst, 3rd person object- and/or dialogue orientated games like Monkey Island or Sherlock Holmes, game compilations, advertising games, free- and shareware games (use menu-link Download), adventures which contain action, roleplaying or arcade elements with the adventure/puzzle part definitely overbalancing.

Not subject of this site are action-adventures, like Tomb Raider, where action is the main-thing or role playing games (RPG's) like Arcatera. Also not to be found at Adventure-Archive are adventure games which can only be played online (except some freeware games).

The descriptions are based on games I had access to - a lot of different versions may exist with variations in look and outfit.
